Itinerary:
We will go up the well-marked and heavily used path 2.8 km to Bertha Falls, then continue on the steeper stretch up to Upper Bertha Falls and the Lake. The distance from the parking lot to Bertha Lake is between 5.2 and 5.6 km, depending on the source. It is an out and back hike. Moderate pace. There are pit toilets at the campground by the Lake.

Water, lunch, layers depending on the weather.

Poles, bug spray.
How to Get There:
Event Directions: Trailhead is the Bertha Lake Parking Lot which is at the south end of the Village of Waterton, just past the campground/Cameron Falls viewpoint and the day use area which are near the lake. All of these can be reached via Evergreen Avenue through the village.
