Welcome
to the Calgary Weekend Hikers website. Founded in 1980,
the hiking Club now has almost 400 members in 250
membership units. With over 125 scheduled hikes each
year, mostly in the Rocky Mountains and foothills west
of Calgary, the Club enjoys a wide range of hiking terrain
and diversity. Hikes range from "easy" to "extremely
difficult" and provide Club members with the opportunity
to pursue their outdoor passion for the Alberta mountain
parks.

weekly phone
updates are club
sanctioned hikes
that count
towards your
four hikes
required to
maintain your
membership.
