Good weather and great group of hardy hikers. Trail conditions were semi-frozen mud with cattle hoof-prints especially bad on Macabee and Balsam Link. Long Prairie was in good shape. I will avoid the area until the ground is completely frozen or there is a good snowfall to cover the hoof-prints. We never saw another person on the trails all day. We had a nice lunch with a beautiful view at the new picnic table at the North end of Pine Ridge. Have some photos from this event that you'd like to share in our photo album?
