2025.09.13 - Mount Burke - Sat, Sep 13 2025 - (View Original Event Details)

Write Up:
Seven of us hiked up Mount Burke. Most of us had hiked this mountain before and enjoyed the opportunity to do it again. The weather was beautiful, with a bit of clouding over when we started our descent, but no rain--until we were driving back between Longview and Diamond Valley. Though the never-ending uphill, relentless switchbacks, scree and a couple of narrow ridges tested our tolerance, we all made it to the top successfully. As usual, we were rewarded with amazing 360 views. Thanks to the hikers who joined me on this hike. You were an awesome group!
