Another great weather day, though we started off in the trees in -10, it soon warmed up with a strong warm sun, now wind and absolutely cloudless blue skies. Inkpots were beautiful but did not reflect the blue sky maybe due to too much silt? Ice formations at the upper and lower falls in Johnson Canyon were nice too - we saw only one climbing pair. Good packed trail most of the way with some icy sections along the falls easily handled by icers, Stats- All trails said 14.48 km and 628 metres eg which is cumulative. We did extra distance as we did not do the car shuttle and instead walked along the road back from the canyon to the cars at moose meadows parking lot.
