What a fine day at Ann and Sandy Cross Conservation Area. We did a counter clockwise hike on Aspen, Paradise, Rancher and then Fescue. The Rancher trail was a bit of a deviation as a result of a left turn instead of a right turn, but we were not in fact "lost" everyone agreed. We were amazed to see a sizeable road and a big structure of barn boards and blue sheeting that were newly built at the base of the Fescue trail hill. Once back at the Education Centre, some workers told us these were sets for a Zombie movie that were built last Thursday and to be taken down in a few days. What a surprise. All had a good time on the walk and we were happy to welcome a new member doing her first hike. Have some photos from this event that you'd like to share in our photo album?
