This was a new hike for the club. We worked our way east and then north down a steep hill losing about 100m of elevation. We found a large glacial erratic and two derelict cars, one had a pair of mallards swimming through it. Although this is a popular mountain biking area, we only saw a few cyclists. There was much discussion regarding the proposed development of this natural area, which has natural springs, Blackfoot history and varied habitats.
