Write Up:
We all had a great day. The trail has been rerouted in parts and generally fixed up from last years floods. There is still one bridge left to be put in but there are planks there to cross the creek. We also encountered three trucks with boxes on them coming down Hydroline and then the Elk Pass trail. They went thru the creek rather than going over one of the bridges. When they got to the gate at the Elk Pass Parking lot, the went thru the brush around the gate and then thru more brush to get into the parking lot. I reported this to the Info Center as these trucks should not have been there. The trucks had no markings on them and nobody even looked at the license plates.
