Sunscreen and lots of water were needed today as the temperature hit 31 degrees. We started up the Marmot Trail but after half an hour of clambering over rocks decided to head back and go up the road. The Marmot Trail has not been cleared after last years flood and so much devastation is still very evident. After enjoying a very leisurely lunch at the mid mountain lodge at Nakiska we were rewarded with the appearance of a grizzly. He was not interested in us but was very content to continue feeding. We all agreed we had a great day. Have some photos from this event that you'd like to share in our photo album? Please forward them to Photo Historian at photos.team@calgaryweekendhikers.com.
