The forecast was snow all day and instead we had a beautiful sunny day, though a bit cool. We were a tough group of hikers, the elite of the elite of hard northern stock. Eagle Hill had about a dozen fallen trees across the trail. Deer Ridge was challenging with hundreds of fallen trees we had to climb over or bushwhack around. Hike took us 5:45 hours. Just a couple oh inches of snow on ground. Lots of bobcat tracks as well as rabbit, squirrels and deer. The picnic table on Eagle Hill is gone. We had short lunch breaks on Eagle Hill and Deer Ridge. It was a beautiful day. Have some photos from this event that you'd like to share in our photo album? Please forward them to Photo Historian at photos.team@calgaryweekendhikers.com.
