Jumpingpound East Ridge with 4 tops and 4 cols was 17 kms long with an elevation gain of 963 m. and it was all ours today. The intrepid 9 hikers, made of of one man and 8 women, made their way to the 4th col which is at the end of a steep grassy slope. Whenever we were on an exposed top there was a stiff cool breeze, but once dropped into the trees, it was surprisingly warm and mostly snow free. At lunch we had a great view of the west side of Moose mountain and watched as 6 hikers made their way along Moose Mountain's north ridge. Jumpingpound East Ridge never fails to astound!
