After the snowfall in Calgary last night we were all expecting to be walking on snowy paths. What a wonderful surprise to find that there was no trace of any snow. All the paths were dry including the dirt path down Tiger Lily. The deer skeleton remains on Tiger Lily. We saw many crocuses today. ( can also be croci) We saw a flock of swans which looked very majestic agInst the brilliant blue sky. We counted three trains today and of course no hike here is complete until we hear the whistle of the train. It was a wonderful 21/2 hour walk enjoyed by all.
