A great 22 km hike (made it all the way to Gibbon Pass, although views not great from there)with cool but good temps, minimum about 3 degrees and some groupel snow balls. Ideal photo ops for the larch. Time taken was longer than expected at 8 hours, and a group of four took 9 hours after a decision to split into two on the way back at Lower Twin Lakes; The east sides of the Storm Mountain peaks looked as impressive as usual, and the four lakes likewise.
